Two Ingredient Ice Blocks

I remember consuming many flavoured ice blocks as a kid every summer in Australia. Little was known back then about reading food labels and the amount of colours and artificial flavours that were added. Kids these days can still enjoy an ice block or frozen treats without the large amount of sugars, food dyes and preservatives. These 2 ingredient ice blocks are super healthy and easy to make.

Ice Blocks recipe

Ingredients

1 cup of berries, mango or banana (fresh or frozen).

1 cup coconut water or plain filtered water

Ice block moulds

Method

1. If using fresh fruit, I find it’s best to cut them in small pieces and freeze until you’re ready to use them.

2. In a blender add coconut water with your chosen fruit. Blend until well combined and no lumps.

3. Pour into ice block moulds and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours to set.

4. If it’s too hard to remove the blocks from the moulds, run under some warm water.
