Chocolate Gummies
These super chocolate gummies are a delicious treat and one you won’t feel guilty to give your kids. They are lunchbox friendly too.
They are also gluten and dairy free, and make a great healthy snack that is great for your gut, bones, teeth and skin.
You don’t need fancy mould to make the chocolate gummies. Just add the mixture to any container and once set in the fridge simply slice into squares and serve.
Make sure you buy a high quality grass-fed gelatin to reap the benefits.
INGREDIENTS
1.5 cups full fat coconut milk (I use the Ayam brand)
2-4 tbsp grass fed gelatin (depending on how firm you want them)
ΒΌ -1/3 cup cold water
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
–
METHOD
1. Add the gelatin to the cold water and allow to bloom for 5 minutes.
2. Gently warm the other ingredients in a saucepan.
3. Switch heat off and allow to cool slightly. Then add gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
4. Pour into silicon moulds and refrigerate until set for a minimum of 4 hours.
